AFC Joins UEFA and CONCACAF in Calling on Infantino to Quit

Asia's football chief has criticised Qatar over its pushback against a letter in which UEFA, the AFC and CONCACAF attacked FIFA president Gianni Infantino's conduct and called on him to resign. The revolt centres on Infantino's abandoned attempt to bring private investment into FIFA events, including the World Cup. Infantino is seeking reelection next year. Three of football's major confederations publicly calling on the sitting FIFA president to quit marks a rare and serious fracture at the top of the global game.
