Balogun Pulled Out of £40m Everton Move Over Medical Handling, Says Monaco

Monaco chief executive Thiago Scuro claims Folarin Balogun withdrew from a £40m transfer to Everton because of how the club handled his medical. Balogun had signed a deal sheet shortly before 11pm on deadline day before rejecting the move. Everton had renegotiated the fee structure after discovering a medical issue, having already failed to sign Joshua Zirkzee or Tammy Abraham on loan.
